Company Information - Dr. Brent Logan
Dr. Brent Logan has devoted much of his life to the study of fetal enrichment, and has pioneered neurogenetic research through Prenatal Institute in Seattle, which he directs. Dr. Logan is the inventor of BabyPlus as well as a principle theorist for prenatal stimulation. His articles on the subject have appeared in leading professional publications and his work has been profiled in hundreds of other media reports. Recently, his work was featured in an one hour documentary entitled "Brave New Babies," narrated by British actress Miranda Richardson and broadcast in a number of countries as well as repeatedly on The Learning Channel.
He serves on the advisory board of the International Society for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology in Heidelberg, Germany and is co-director of the International Society for Prenatal Learning and Bonding. He also holds a teaching and research professorship in developmental psychology with Centro de Estudios Mediterrano-Puig, in Valencia, Spain.
Following undergraduate work at Occidental College in Los Angeles, his B.A., M.A. and doctoral studies were completed at the University of Washington. He was awarded a developmental psychology Ph.D., specializing in human fetology. He taught at the University of Washington for several years and also holds an M.F.A. from the University of Iowa.
